Virtual Numbers – Assignment And Charges

Acquiring a Virtual Number

Standard VNs allow you to send SMS and receive both SMS and MMS, while Call Forward and Voice Virtual Numbers have sending/receiving SMS capabilities only and allow you to manage calls.

For SMS + MMS and Call Forward Virtual Numbers

To have an Australian SMS + MMS or SMS + Call Forward Virtual Number assigned to your account:

1. Navigate to Virtual Numbers then click Order Number

2. Fill in and submit the request form

For Voice Virtual Numbers

Voice Virtual Numbers are VoIP mobile numbers provisioned by our partners and enabled with SMS functionality via our platform and its integrations.

Purchase and provision voice services with a VoIP provider, then enable SMS functionality on your VoIP mobile number using our integrations.

NOTE: This is currently only available VoIPline Telecom customers on VoIP mobile numbers.

Virtual Number Charges

Once assigned, your number will be automatically renewed monthly until it’s cancelled. Simply email support@edgility.com.au to request cancellation.

Australian SMS + MMS Virtual Number

$20 per month (ex gst)
No charge to receive inbound SMS or MMS.

 

Australian SMS + Call Forward Number

$40 per month (ex gst)
No charge to receive inbound SMS.
Includes 100 minutes of FREE call forwarding every month.
Per second rate for call forwarding thereafter.
5.8c per minute to Australian landlines
9.8c per minute to Australian mobile numbers
9.8c per minute Australian FLRN (ie. 1300 numbers)

NOTE: CFVNs are currently Australian mobile numbers only.

 

Australian SMS + VOICE

$10 per month (ex gst)
No charge to receive inbound SMS.
Edgility currently provides SMS linking to VoIPline Telecom customers – enabling SMS connectivity to their VoIP mobile numbers.

NOTE: VoIP calling charges and management remain with VoIPline Telecom.
